Food Pairing Notes
Chinese Chicken Salad, seared Ahi Tuna Or how about Grilled Prawns: make marinade of Verdelho, garlic, salt, finely chopped honeydew melon, and a small amount of jalapeno, just enough for a little spice. Allow this marinade to stand overnight in the fridge. Marinate prawns in their broken shells 2 hrs and grill over Mesquite. Peel and eat.

Ahoy Mateys! Me and the boys had us some of this wine labeled with a 2012 date, and what did I see floating off my port bow this morning, ones with a 2013 date...why were they floating off my port bow? I'm sure it had nothing to do with the remains of the galley we were forced to sink last night...nah, we don't do things like that...let's see if this is as good as the 2012!

This wine has a light golden color to it, very light, but it's there...

Sniffy Sniff Time - Well, me hearties, this wine has some nice tropical notes on the nose, with some pineapple, and bananna. Maybe a bit of honeysuckle flower as well.

Tasty Taste Time - Consistency is king he, ya scallywags. I think I am getting the pineapple fruit on my palate, with some hints of caramel, and some cream. Crisp acidity yields some zesty grapefruit notes on the finish. Smooth mouthfeel as well.

Looks like I need to tell me boys to fish the rest of those barrels in, as this one is as good as the last vintage! Tasty, and easy to quaff, I can see this won't last long!
