Made at Twisted Oak by Winemakers of Unusual Size, this swashbuckling Calaveras blend is so big you’ll need six fingers to hold the bottle. It’s inconceivable that one could resist these aromas and flavors as big as Fezzik himself. Share it with your special Buttercup, a Gentle Giant, or the entire Kingdom... as you wish.

Tasting Notes
We have quite a hodgepodge of tasting notes for The Spaniard, so rather than wrap a narrative of questionable cleverness around them, we’re just going to throw them right at you: “Cherry Black Currant bomb” “Cedar cherry berry” “Great gams” (gams?) “Fruitalicious” “Way better than beer” “A great [Italian] red” (that was one confused taster, and we won’t repeat the inappropriate ethnic characterization that rhymes with Winnebago.) Our favorite: “It’s turtles all the way down!” OK, so that last one is maybe too hip for the room (you can read about it on Wikipedia) - we’re pretty sure he was referring to the long finish

Food Pairing Notes
Meat! If you don't ever drink this with lamb, you're not livin' right!! Well-marbled beef by itself, or lean cuts of beef with rich sauces. How about a Spanish Paprika rubbed Ribeye topped with Applewood smoked bacon and Cabrale Spanish Blue? How about it?

Tempranillo is quickly becoming my favorite grapes. Wonderful earthy notes, great berry flavors. So glad we found TW and el Jeffe..! We have sampled several of his wines and have never been let down.

This is a great wine! Buy it - now! So smooth and definitely good enough to have at a wedding for a "Mawwiage".

Ahoy Mateys! At our last run in to port, I dueled with a Spaniard...he asked me if I knew the 6 fingered man. A man with 6 fingers? Surely he jested. He told me he had wine that needed to be delivered to him post haste...well, with that being said, of COURSE I remembered a man with 6 fingers...he thanked me and gave me the wine, appropriately titled after him. Naturally, I had to try some, eh?

The wine has a black plum skin color in the glass, but is transparent, and a bit garnet colored when held to the light.

Sniffy Sniff Time - Cedar wood, smoke, hints of cherry fruit. A very woody and smoky nose to this wine.

Tasty Taste Time - ok, ya scalywags, Black cherry fruit, some black berry, tobacco, a bit o' tar, and some oak plank (like on me ship). Very smooth across my palate, it be. Medium tannins.

This is quite the good wine! So good, in fact, I think I have forgotten that it was to be delivered to a 6 toed man, er, was that a 6 armed woman...e-gad, give me another glass, me hearties, and leave me be to enjoy!

Rubber Chicken Thoughts, by Sir Cluckles - Ba-gawk! Bawk Bawk Bawk. Bawk BawK. Ba-gawk-gawk!

Bas vers le haut, Mateys...Arrrr!
