2011 The Spaniard
A wine that will leave you mostly dead! A Rioja-style blend of Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha.
Made at Twisted Oak by Winemakers of Unusual Size, this swashbuckling Calaveras blend is so big you’ll need six fingers to hold the bottle. It’s inconceivable that one could resist these aromas and flavors as big as Fezzik himself. Share it with your special Buttercup, a Gentle Giant, or the entire Kingdom... as you wish.
59% Tempranillo, Spaniard block
22% Graciano, Willow block
19% Garnacha, Colina Roja block
The wine has a black plum skin color in the glass, but is transparent, and a bit garnet colored when held to the light.
Sniffy Sniff Time - Cedar wood, smoke, hints of cherry fruit. A very woody and smoky nose to this wine.
Tasty Taste Time - ok, ya scalywags, Black cherry fruit, some black berry, tobacco, a bit o' tar, and some oak plank (like on me ship). Very smooth across my palate, it be. Medium tannins.
This is quite the good wine! So good, in fact, I think I have forgotten that it was to be delivered to a 6 toed man, er, was that a 6 armed woman...e-gad, give me another glass, me hearties, and leave me be to enjoy!
Rubber Chicken Thoughts, by Sir Cluckles - Ba-gawk! Bawk Bawk Bawk. Bawk BawK. Ba-gawk-gawk!
Bas vers le haut, Mateys...Arrrr!
