Chris Kern wrote such an awesome review on his website and store Forgotten Grapes that we had to share it with you here: "How do we know this wine is, to quote Moe Szyslak, "awesomely outrageous?" When the first six words on the back label read, and we quote, "Sounds like Cluck, pairs with duck". Honestly, we should just drop the mic right there (this wine certainly does). Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache - and honestly, you never see MSG blends anywhere; hell, you don't even see MSG in Chinese food joints anymore. It's a full-frontal and in-your-face assault of spices and pepper and blueberry and cherry that will leave you breathless and panting and wanting a Sam Kinison concert or a night with Amy Schumer [rimshot] Hey yo! We'll be here all week. You've been a fantastic audience. Don't forget to tip your waitress and enjoy the veal!"

From the back label:

Sounds like Cluck, pairs with Duck - what more can we say without gettin’ keelhauled and sent to walk the plank? We can say that this Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache is a veritable broadside of aromas and flavors. Just the thing to “splice the mainbrace”, if you know what we mean.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The meaty aromas of bing cherries might have you thinking this Cote du Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache just fell out of a “California Cheese” commerical. Well, the name is the only cheesy thing about it! Those spicy fruit flavors of blueberry and cherry sure ain’t no bull! (Note: No animals were harmed in the writing of these tasting notes.)
Vineyard Notes
61% Mourvedre and
22% Syrah - from Tanner Vineyards
17% Grenache - from Twisted Oak, Colina Roja Block
Food Pairing Notes
Pairs and Rhymes with Duck! Also barbecued baby back ribs, Szechuan foods, and yer momma’s meatloaf.

Man after tasting Jeff's Viognier last night I didn't think it could get review of his Viognier did not do it justice...after sleeping on it I realized my bucket list includes being ship wrecked on a deserted island with a case of Jeff Viognier...I can only dream! And I'm a red wine now we bring this to the island...meaty, dark berry nose..oh ya! Blueberry pie with a nice spicy finish! Rhymes with duck for sure! Nice thick legs that go on for days holy *%#€t@! !!! I love this wine ! Thank Jeff!

This is a full bodied red with lots of complexity. The color is deep garnet and a swirl in the glass produces long, lingering legs. On the nose there is blackberry, black cherry and cedar.

How can one's mouth water when it is filled with liquid? I don't know, but this wine makes it happen! This is a juicy, delicious blend of blackberry, cherry, and cedar, with layers of leather and tobacco smoke. There is warm spice as the wine rolls across the tongue and down the throat, with firm, chewy tannins resolving in a delightfully dry finish.

I had this alone as an evening sipper, and it was wonderful. With the high tannins and full body, this wine will pair famously with a well marbled steak, or any other rich food.

Superb! Great job, Jeff!!

This wine was so *%#&@!ing good...can't say it enough. I need to stock up on this one. The aromas kept developing over time along with complex flavors of dark fruit. It had a good tannic full bodied finish. Jeff Stai you out performed yourself with this top notch Rhone blend. Mour 57, Syr 26, Gren 17.
