Sounds like Cluck, pairs with Duck - what more can we say without gettin’ keelhauled and sent to walk the plank? We can say that this Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache is a veritable broadside of aromas and flavors. Just the thing to “splice the mainbrace”, if you know what we mean.

Tasting Notes
The meaty and peppery characters and hints of Provençal herbs and spices might have you thinking this Cote du Rhône-style blend of Mourvedre, Syrah, and Grenache just fell out of a “California Cheese” commerical. Well, the name is the only cheesy thing about it! Those bright fruit flavors of blueberry and cherry sure ain’t no bull! (Note: No animals were harmed in the writing of these tasting notes.)
Vineyard Notes
60% Mourvedre and
13% Syrah - from Tanner Vineyards
27% Grenache - from Twisted Oak, Colina Roja Block
Food Pairing Notes
Pairs and Rhymes with Duck! Also barbecued baby back ribs, Szechuan foods, and yer momma’s meatloaf.

We can't keep enough of this in stock. Since we live in Sonora, I'm glad Price Co carrys it also even though it's not as much fun as coming to visit you in person. Keep up the great work!

Very solid wine, however, was not quite as excited about it when I drank it at home as I remembered at the tasting room, possibly for obvious reasons;)

This wine will absolutely surprise you. Delicious young, yet as it ages in the cellar the blue fruit flavors mellow and more black and red fruit comes to the fore; it's a transformation that (to me) makes the wine more and more enjoyable as it ages. In spite of being a relatively big wine, it has good acidity and pairs well with a variety of foods. Get some while you can, and be sure to hold a couple for at least three years so you can discover just how amazing a wine it is.
