First shalt thou take out thy Holy Wine Glass, then shalt thou pour Parcel 17, nothing more, nothing less. Parcel 17 shall be the wine thou shalt drink, and the wine thou shalt drink shall be Parcel 17. Parcel 18 shalt thou not drink, neither drinkest thou Parcel 16, excepting that thou then proceed to Parcel 17. Parcel 19 is right out. Once the Parcel 17 hath been consumed, then lobbest thou thy Holy Wine Glass towards thy foe.
Intense aromas of blackberries and currants. Bright fruity and spicy flavors. The mouthfeel is dry and tannic but just now beginning to soften. Finishes long with black cherries and spice. (A normal tasting note? If you can't handle this, go back and read the back label again!)
50% Monastrell (Mourvedre) from Dalton vineyard; 37% Mazuelo (Carignane) from Tanner vineyard; 13% Graciano (Graciano) from the Willow block at Twisted Oak Winery.
Food Pairing Notes
