What exactly does “Reserve” on a wine label mean? Answer: Nothing! Zip!! Zilch!!! In fact, I can imagine a certain Mr. Wonka saying, "Nothing! You get ZILCH! Now GOOD DAY SIR!"

Anyway... we’ve been holding this particular 100% Tempranillo in some pretty sweet barrels, and it would be SO tempting to just follow the crowd and call it a “Reserve”. But instead, we give you “Zilch” - which in our book, is actually quite the golden ticket.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Zilch in name, zizzles in taste! Zesty aromaz of tobacco, sweet vanilla, bing cherry and black currant. (Zounds! No zinnia?) Zippy flavorz of blackberry, ripe cherriez, coffee, black pepper and leather make your mouth zing! Enjoy with zeppole or zabaione, in Zzyzx with a zaftig zoologist and a zany zombie flick. Zuch zymurgy! Zowie!

Winemaker Notes
Damn, just damn, this wine is a beautiful wine very approachable now or lay down for 10-15 years
Food Pairing Notes
Spanish Rubbed Ribeye Steak. ‘Nuff Said….. OR, if that’s not enough said, try it with a Hamburger with grilled onions and a slice of Manchego. Or even Smoked pork or lamb; or wild mushroom risotto; or bacon stuffed mushrooms. Heck, I'm having it tonight with a bowl of split pea soup.
