91 points. "Light gold in color, but very pale for a Viognier. Beautiful focused nose of Peach, Apricot, & Lemon. Much more tart than expected. I don't get much, if any, of the sweet Peach and Apricot on the nose. I like this quite a bit but it's nowhere near as sweet and fruity and you expect from a Viognier. Reminds me of those sour lemon candies that make you pucker up, but not nearly as sweet. Very high grade from me, but might throw some people off if they're expecting something sweet." - Grillgod on CellarTracker

Tasting Notes
“It’s like going into a department store, and before your can say ‘Stop!’ some perky thing in a floral print blasts you with the latest from Yves St. Ralph!” Not this Viognier! Sure, you will detect hints of apple and orange peel, but apricot and gooseberrytake center stage upstairs in the Aroma Dept. Meanwhile, in the Flavor Dept. (1st floor, just past Lingerie), you’ll taste those apricots and apples along with creamy and nutty flavors. Perfect for your holiday, or everyday, shopping experience!

A crusty toast scent dominates the nose. Mouthfeel is smooth, medium weight, with some more buttered toast flavors and citrus. Nothing too flowery, not too stemmy. In a word, good drinking. The kind of wine that could make you 'sleep well, and dream of large women'...or at least curl up with a rerun of The Princess Bride.(Jun 9, 2009 at 7:20 AM)
