About Our Concerts and Venue
When you arrive, turn onto Red Hill Road and then enter at the first driveway on your right. Follow the winding gravel road up to the venue where our crack parking staff will guide you to a spot. (Sorry, no RV parking is available for concerts.)
Note that we close the gates at 5:30pm which is the tasting room closing time, and re-open them at 6:30pm. Please help us put on the best show we can - come back at 6:30pm - so that we can focus on being ready for everyone. Thanks for understanding!
(When we are expecting a large crowd we plan to let you "partway in" before 6:30pm so that people aren't backed up onto the highway. When we do that we ask that you please stay in your vehicle until we get you to a parking spot.)
From your car proceed east towards 350-year-old California Blue Oak which is the Twisted Oak tree. You will see a table where you can check in to the event and get your wristband. (You gotta have a wristband.)
Seating is "festival style": once you have your wristband, wander over to the stage area and choose your spot. Even for a full event there are no "bad seats" - there is a great view of the stage from all locations, not to mention a great view of the surrounding countryside!
Please bring your own blanket or chair to sit on. We ask that you bring a "low back" chair if at all possible. If you have to bring a full size chair, please locate yourself back by the sound tent and take care not to block people behind you. (It's actually a pretty good spot, that's why the sound people are there!)
You'll notice this year that the start times are different for each show. The start times have been selected such that the show starts at sundown. Perfect for you and perfect for the performers.
When you arrive, it is usually still quite sunny so plan accordingly for hats, sunscreen, etc. Also, even though the days are warm, the nights can cool down. Bring an extra layer just in case. (And by the way, the show goes on, rain or shine - we're sorry but we cannot offer rain checks.)
Dancing: Because we are on a flat hilltop, dancing in front of the stage means no one behind you can see the band. Please be courteous and dance off to the sides of the crowd.
At all events we have wine (yay!), water, soft drinks, and food available for purchase - just look for the big structure southwest of the stage. We have a selection of hot food, snacks, and popcorn available for purchase. Come for dinner!
You can bring in your own food and beverage, but please do not bring in any outside alcoholic beverages. Our license does not permit it.
Pets: We love critters! Your quiet, well behaved pet is welcome, as long as you keep them on a leash and you clean up their stinky poo poo messes. If no one hears your pet, and no one ends up with something smelly on their shoes, we're happy.
Finally, some boring legal crap: Under California law we have the obligation to not serve wine to any obviously intoxicated person. For your protection, we will ask any patron who is behaving in a disruptive or intoxicated manner to leave the premises, without refund. Please come, enjoy the music, and travel home safe!
Also, like any other event of this nature, concert ticket sales are final and there are no refunds. You are of course welcome to give tickets to friends or to sell them.
