2009 Murgatroyd
Don’t Exit! Our amimated blend is at the Stage where it is drinkable now, or may be Left for a few years. Either way, its aromas of raspberries and blackberries, and flavors of currants and nutmeg will Snaggle your Puss any time. Heavens to MURGATROYD!
Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
With a name like “Murgatroyd” you might expect this wine to smell and taste like a pink mountain lion. While this wine is as dry and intense as a night in the desert, and its spicy aromas might be the result of a romp in the sagebrush, nothing could be further from the truth. Bright aromas of black fruit and blueberry tart, and full fruit flavors of blackberries, currants, and cream are certainly nothing like a pink mountain lion. Then again... why is he pink?

I enjoyed the Mugatroyd last night with a very cheesey garlicky pizza. It was the perfect compliment to the pizza. I will be picking up a few more bottles soon.
